Belle Experiment at the KEK B-factory

Belle is a large new experiment for the B-factory at KEK, the National High Energy Physics Laboratory of Japan.
The Melbourne group has eight PhD students all participating in physics anlysis at the Belle experiment. Collaborating with the University of Sydney, we are making substantial contribution to the design, construction and monitoring of the Silicon Vertex Detector (SVD), one of the most important components of the Belle detector.
